The demise of the human soul

Since my time over here in Iraq I feel I have learned more about myself than any other time in this life. How small each and every person is compared to the whole of this earth. My photography has gon in new directions from horror and macrabe to capturing the people of this world. My military coverage has it's limits, but people in all of thier uniqeness, well I can't think of a better subject that holds true to the phrase " A picture is worth a thousand words" One thing is for certain, when deployed to this place, peoples true colors really shine through. the world stops revolving for myself while I'm here. People whoI thought were good and were friends turn out to be cowards and liars. And some people who I despised I get along with better. Somewhat of a contradiction. Strange isn't it? We are the only creature on earth that can reason, and yet we will be the first speices to destroy ourselves.
